Your Kids Our Kids is all about community! We love to welcome new families, connect with and celebrate our community. Each quarter we hold an exclusive Your Kids Our Kids event for our Parent Community to share experiences and support each other. We learn and grow from sharing knowledge, insight into early childhood practices, and our day to day experiences as educators and parents. We welcome feedback, ideas and see every challenge as an opportunity to grow personally and professionally. It is a special way we can connect with our families and learn from each other, all while having a great time.
At Your Kids Our Kid we organise for professionals to come and host information sessions at our centres. Information evenings have so far included positive behaviour guidance, speech & language development, transition to primary school, service communications, children’s development and more! We appreciate parents as primary caregivers and want to embrace this relationship in order to benefit the children whom we care for each day.
At Your Kids Our Kids, we offer our families lots of opportunities to learn more about what we do at the service as well as tips & tricks to use at home. In the past we have held comprehensive Q&A seminars focused on toilet training, behaviour management, the importance of sleep, ditching the dummy, Centrelink entitlements, speech pathology, developmental milestones and additional needs. We are so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community and we've worked hard to create the amazing Your Kids Our Kids family! Throughout the year we host events to recognise the special relationships between families and give parents an opportunity to mingle with other members in the community. Some of these events include our parent info sessions, Grandparent Day, Mother's Day & Father's Day events, fundraising initiatives and our very popular end-of-year Chrismas Party!
